Language: English To all whiners: Some games may or may not work for you. But really, what did you expect? If you really wanted to play games you should have bought a windows pc.. I'm doing my best in trying to provide games to the mac community. If it doesn't work for you, please write what system you're on, and if it does work for you, state that and please, also now, write what system you're on.

when i try too open the game i get this:
"The move failed.
You either do not have permission to move, or there is already a folder with that name in the wrapper's Program Files folder"
I have checked the wineskin thingy, and that did not work either. Please help! The download worked fine though

The game runs perfectly, but there are a lot of glitches as everyone here says, with the black screen, and 3d bodys going out of people heads, any fix there yet? same thing as the other dishonored link for the mac. how stupid are u! its the same thing and also the screen still goes black when ur in a dark place!
As others mentioned, the 2 biggest problems are the black screen, and the 3d bodies coming out of people's heads. Please find a fix for it because everything else on this game works perfectly.

Dude post something please...I couldn't play the game because of the dark thing, holograms and so on...I tried to uninstall and back again the same thing happened...please do something...I am redownloading this now...We all wanna play this...so make the necessary please...POST A SOLUTION please...THXX in advance
For anybody who is having problems getting the game to install, this is what I do.
Instead of opening the files and installing the wrapper, I just dragged the game itself in the my application folder. It took just a few minutes for it to install, but once finished, it works. At least, it did for me.
I noticed I was having the same problem as some of the other people and thought this was a lot more simple then having to go inside the files and mess with the wrapper.
Btw, I am using a MacBook Pro which I got back in December (2012) I have it OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.2. I hope this helps for those of you who are having problems. Thanks for thenoobish for such wonderful work for the mac community.

It has worked for me for about 5 months now. No lag, perfect gameplay, no glitches at all.
I have 10.8.3 and it worked when i had 10.8.2 as well, all i did was mount it to my applications and went into package contents then wineskin - advanced - tools - update wrapper (make sure wineskin winery is newest update before you do this) and i updated the wrapper TWICE. Even though 2nd time is not needed always do it twice. It works amazingly from there.
This is one of my favourite games and I'd like everybody to experience it too so there you go :)

Working on MacBook 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 8GB RAM, OS X 10.9 Mavericks.
horrible fps on rmbp 15 late 2013 with gt750m 2.6ghz i7 crystal well and 16gb ram osx10.9.1. at lowest i get about 25fps which drops to around 10fps in fights.
plus i can't return the game to fullscreen after cmd + tab i have to restart the whole game.
